Shakira to sing Waka Waka at the World Cup final

Colombian singer Shakira is going to perform the “Waka Waka” at the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final. She’s teaming up with Freshlyground once again for a performance at Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg, on July 11th. Shakira will take the stage at 6:40 local time for a performance of the international hit. It’ll air on all networks showing the World Cup, estimated audience of 1000 million. The official World Cup South Africa 2010 song “Waka Waka” has become a number 1 hit all over the world, hitting the top spot in countries like Italy, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Spain, Germany, South Africa, Switzerland, and France.

The song also is included on the “Listen Up! Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Album” released by Sony Music. Shakira’s also sure to perform the track on her upcoming world tour, which kicks off September 17th in Uncasville, CT and continues on through the end of the year to spots like Barcelona, Munich, Berlin, and London. Her next album is said to be rock influenced, and also featuring sounds from Dominican Republic and Colombia. Today, the 33-year-old pretty Colombian singer played with a brown cub and white lion at the popular tourist attraction.

Hilary Duff loves Pilates

Hilary Duff is taking Pilates classes and she loves it. She was seen leaving her Pilates class in Los Angeles, California, today, July 6th. The 22-year-old actress and talented singer, and her boyfriend, gifted hockey player Mike Comrie, took a trip out to New York City last week. The beautiful and happy couple spent time in New York City to support sister Haylie’s, in the off-Broadway performance show “Love, Loss and What I Wore”.

Margaret LeAnn Rimes wears hot pink shorts for the July 4th celebrations at NBC plaza in New York City. The 27-year-old country singer also performed at the Naperville Ribfest at Knoch Park in Illinois on Saturday.

Margaret will be joined by teen popstar Justin Bieber and singing sensation Enrique Iglesias for the July 4th spectacular. She looks cute in these pictures.

It has been rumored that pop star Justin Bieber was dating Caitlin Beadles, his ex girlfriend. The rumor went viral, when he was seen with his ex-girlfriend on vacation in the Caribbean.

Today, Justin has taken to his Twitter account to clear up the rumors. Just so that his gal pal won’t be getting any Belieber threats, I’m sure. Justin tweeted: “IM SINGLE and READY TO MINGLE!! haha”. Caitlin Beadles was also spotted at his concert in Atlanta. Now, there are rumors that the young couple is back in love after reuniting this past month in The Bahamas.

Ashley Tisdale High Stakes Movie

Actress and singer Ashley Tisdale has finished filming “High Stakes”, also known as Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure, an upcoming 2011 Disney Channel Movie, part of the High School Musical series.

“3 more days left of Sharpays Fabulous Adventure. Excited to be moving on to my next project but a bittersweet feeling. To finally take Sharpay’s shoes off. Thank you to all my fans for all the support of letting me play this amazing character one more time.”

Directed by Michael Lembeck, “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” is set to premiere on the Disney Channel in 2011.

Luis Miguel back with Daisy Fuentes?

Puerto Rican singer Luis Miguel and Daisy Fuentes were reportedly seen having dinner in an exclusive restaurante in Beverly Hills. Miss Fuentes is a Cuban model and television personality and her ex longtime girlfriend.

In April 2010, Luis Miguel was hospitalized at the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The cause of the hospitalization was not disclosed and there were some rumours that he could be death. However, according to a close friend of Luis Miguel, the talented singer is in great shape and doing better than ever.

Madonna and Lola present Material Girl

Madonna shows her support for Material Girl, her new line of clothing. Madonna’s 13-year-old daughter, reportedly designed much of the collection. And clearly someone has been watching Mommy’s old videos.

The clothes don’t hit stores until August 3, but sketches of some of the outfits popped up last week. Pieces cost $12 to $40.

Barbadian R&B singer beauty Rihanna and her pro baseball outfielder Matt Kemp share a romantic dinner on Saturday night in West Hollywood, California.

Rihanna and Matt have been dating for several months and she has been spotted at his games cheering him on. Rihanna is enjoying some downtime with her boyfriend before continuing her “Last Girl on Earth” tour at the start of July.

Victoria Beckham denies rumours of split

Victoria Beckham stepped out today for the first time following rumours she and husband David were planning to split earlier this week. Wearing a yellow dress, Miss Beckham looked happy and relaxed as she arrived in the south of France with her three sons for a holiday break.

The 36-year-old English singer showed no sign of stress following her publicist being forced to deny reports the couple were planning to announce the end of their marriage. David Beckham is in South Africa with the English Football team, during the World Cup. They are going to play against Germany today, Sunday 27th. David is planning to fly out to France after the World Cup.

Alicia Keys reveals baby bump at the GMA Concert

She’s about five months along in her recently announced pregnancy. Alicia and fiance rapper Swizz Beatz took part in a Zulu blessing ceremony during a recent visit to South Africa.
