USA soccer star Landon Donovan scored a winning goal on Wednesday that saved the U.S. from being ousted at the South Africa World Cup 2010. It also may help rescue the marriage with his estranged actress wife Bianca Kajlich, also known as Jennifer on the CBS comedy “Rules of Engagement.”

Landon Donovan and Bianca Kajlich, who separated last July, had an emotional phone conversation this morning. Donovan had blown her a kiss on camera, after scoring the winner goal against Algeria. “We are not officially divorced, we spoke last night, it was nice.” Bianca Kajlich seems happy after hearing the praiseworthy comments from ex-husband.
